Love Oysters?

Then this is the event for you! One dozen oysters (three each of four different varieties) with four beer pairings. AND we're following it with an Oyster Happy Hour from 3:30-5 at the bar with 1/2 off oysters & drink specials.

$65 per person includes oysters & pairings as well as a shucking knife & lesson, recipes & oyster education. Full amount is due at the time of making reservations. Sorry, but there are no refunds. 

Here's the Deal

  1. Start the class off right with an oyster shooter (featuring Rachel's Raquette Lake Elixer) and jump right into tasting some of the East Coast's finest bivalves with a welcome beer. 
  2. From there, we'll get into some basic oyster knowledge & then get specific with East Coast oysters fact.
  3. A shucking lesson will give you the chance to shuck your own oysters (don't worry, we'll shuck 'em for you if you don't want to).


The Howl Story SLAM

It's Back!

We are excited to be hosting The Howl Story SLAM for the third time on Friday, September 21st. Presented by NCPR and the Adirondack Center for Writing, The Howl Story SLAM is an open mic storytelling competition open to anyone. Participants get  five-minute to tell a story that fits with the evening's theme. Small Disclaimer: Adults are telling stories that may or may not have adult themes (sex, politics, death, taxes, waiting in line at the DMV) and therefore may or may not contain adult language. This is live, so there are no beeped versions available.
